West Melton Fete

The West Melton Country Fete has become one of Canterbury's most successful school fundraisers, transforming the school grounds into a bustling marketplace and entertainment venue. Over 130 stalls pack the field with beautiful handmade crafts, homewares, clothing, food, health and beauty products - something for everyone to browse and purchase. Homemade baking from the school community flies off tables, while children enjoy bouncy castles, petting zoos with cute and unusual animals, pony rides, crazy bikes, mini jeeps, Pedalmania, bungee tramps, and kids' Zumba. White elephant treasures await bargain hunters, while bacon butties, cotton candy, and ice cream keep everyone fueled. Two food courts offer diverse dining options throughout the day. A full lineup of local Canterbury entertainment fills the stages - local bands, dancers, and school groups perform continuously.
