About the Event
The Arrowtown Autumn Festival celebrates four decades of community excellence with its biggest program yet - over 50 events across five glorious autumn days. Set against the backdrop of Arrowtown's world-famous golden poplars and vibrant autumn foliage, this festival combines heritage, creativity, local talent, and genuine community spirit. The beloved Bayleys Parade (Saturday 2pm) features floats, classic cars, vintage tractors, community groups, and local characters processing through historic Buckingham Street - always a crowd favorite! Market Day transforms the village with 100+ quality craft and artisan stalls showcasing regional talent. "Pie Pint & Pinot" celebrates local cuisine paired with Central Otago wines and craft beers. The Quiz Night tests local knowledge with competitive teams battling for glory. The Art Exhibition features works from regional artists displayed in historic venues.
